Nevada's Great Schools for Nevada Federal CSP Program represents funds available to help Nevada expand opportunities for students to attend high-quality public charter schools that meet and exceed state academic standards.

The Great Schools for Nevada Federal CSP subgrant program pursues following two objectives: 

1) Increase the number of high-quality charter schools serving high-need communities and educationally disadvantaged student populations.

2) Position Nevada's charter sector as a leader in authorizing quality and academic performance.

The high-stakes LOI submission window will open January 5, 2026 and will close January 12, 2026 at 11:59PM PST.

The application cycle for the first CSP cohort will open January 16, 2026 and will close February 13, 2025 at 11:59 PM PST

Late applications will not be accepted.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

First, use this platform to complete the eligibility form and upload/submit the requested Letter of Intent (LOI). After the LOI has been submitted, schools that have been invited to apply will be notified VIA email.

After submitting your LOI and being invited to apply for the Great Schools for Nevada Federal CSP Grant, you will use your existing Survey Monkey Apply profile in Opportunity 180's application portal. Within the application, there will be a list of tasks and supporting documents in addition to the application you must submit including (but not limited to) the project and application narrative, evidence of your 501c3, etc. As part of the application process, Opportunity 180 will provide technical assistance to applicants, as well as help desk support from the Survey Monkey Apply team. Please email greatschoolsnvcsp@opportunity180.org for additional details and /or with any questions or comments.

PLEASE NOTE: Do not attach curriculum, invoices, or any other document not specifically required as an attachment. If, for good cause, the applicant wishes to include an additional attachment, email greatschoolsnvcsp@opportunity180.org with your request for permission and a supporting rationale. Extraneous attachments, without proper authorization, will be removed and not submitted to the grant reviewer. Do not upload/send any material that must be returned.
