Nevada's Great Schools for Nevada Federal CSP Program represents funds available to help Nevada expand opportunities for students to attend excellent public charter schools that meet and exceed state academic standards.
The Great Schools for Nevada project has three objectives:
Increase the number of quality new, replicated, or expanded public charter schools serving the most at-risk student populations by at least 24 schools over the next five years. Establish Nevada’s charter sector as a leader in authorizing quality and academic performance.
Evaluate, collect and disseminate widely the successes and lessons of highly-quality charter schools to impact the broader education system.

The application cycle for the sixth cohort will open January 6, 2025 and will close January 31, 2025 at 11:59 PST. Late applications will not be accepted.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
After submitting your LOI and being invited to apply for the Great Schools for Nevada Federal CSP Grant, you will use your existing online profile in Opportunity 180's application portal. Within the application, there will be a list of tasks and supporting documents in addition to the application you must submit including (but not limited to) the project and application narrative, evidence of your 501c3, etc. As part of the application process, Opportunity 180 will provide technical assistance to applicants, as well as help desk support from the Survey Monkey Apply team. Please email greatschoolsnvcsp@opportunity180.org for additional details and /or with any questions or comments.
PLEASE NOTE: Do not attach curriculum, invoices, or any other document not specifically required as an attachment. If, for good cause, the applicant wishes to include an additional attachment, email greatschoolsnvcsp@opportunity180.org with your request for permission and a supporting rationale. Extraneous attachments, without proper authorization, will be removed and not submitted to the grant reviewer. Do not upload/send any material that must be returned.
